The Cheviot House is ready to help small groups gather once again
Life has been complicated since COVID-19 began. However, with the onset of vaccines, people are more eager than ever to see their families, friends and co-workers. Luckily, The Cheviot House, located at 3662 Glenmore Ave. in Cheviot, offers an intimate way for people to gather for any business or social need.
The event space opened in April of 2021 after husband-wife duo, Leroy and Ming Cardwell, decided to create a place for people to celebrate with close family and friends.
“We wanted a space that was beautiful when you walk in, so clients did not have to spend a lot of money decorating it,” Ming says. “The space is gorgeous empty so that it is the perfect complement to any type of event.”
The Cheviot House values simplicity and elegance. Ming says the couple and their company, Cardwell Company, LLC, work hard to ensure that booking is easy and that attention to quality and detail is apparent in the space. The space can host a variety of business and social events, from birthday parties, wedding or baby showers, and graduations to business trainings, meetings and holiday parties. The Cheviot House can accommodate 40 people seated and 50 people for a standing cocktail event.
“The design and decor are beautiful! It’s warm and welcoming and people feel like they are hosting in luxury for a day,” she says.
Another way The Cheviot House delivers luxury and simplicity is by offering items in the standard rental that are typically considered upgrades. This includes things like Chiavari chairs, tablecloths, a prep kitchenette, access to a smart TV and Bluetooth. The house also has a mobile bar and photography studio on site.
“We’re looking forward to many events, creating many memories and bringing so much joy to every person who walks through our doors!” Ming says.
When people book the Cheviot House, they can look forward to a seamless and customizable venue as it is a space of endless possibilities. Ming says The Cheviot House is extremely excited to be a part of the Greater Cincinnati community and, having just opened in April, the Cardwells are excited about the future.
“We are so grateful for the warm welcome that everyone has given us,” Ming says.
